IT'S FRIDAY, MY FAVORITE DAY!!

I'm back! We decided to take a break last week; nothing new happening and besides my Computer Maestro wasn't feeling well. I guess I'll pick it up there because that's where I left off.

Dave came through his hospital scare OK. He's better now that they have some of his meds figured out. He is going to begin some counseling with the medical team at the VA, and between that and re-assessing all of his meds, I think he's on the mend again. He will resume his chemotherapy a week from now.

I have been catching up with my reading and watching Netflix on television while Dave has spent most of his time sleeping.

But, it's all better this week although there isn't much to talk about. The weather was beautiful over the weekend, but come Monday the fire hoses were back with more rain. We did have a tsunami advisory after the big underwater volcano eruption in Tonga but we stayed calm and carried on and nothing happened in our area.

Is it too much to hope that the worst of the Covid nastiness is behind us? After a short closure, the pool is open again. After a year with no get-togethers, my high school class is going to attempt to resume our monthly luncheon sessions and we just got word that the steam group is going to try for it's Annual General Meeting in March. Oh, how I would like Covid to become a distant memory!

We decided to get out of the house after being cooped up for so long and ran some errands up in Astoria. Dave had a pair of rain pants he wanted to exchange for a pair of waterproof bib overalls and he picked up some video equipment for the computer. While we were out and about, we had a nice dinner at the Bridgeport Bistro in Astoria.

I am still going to Physical Therapy once a week and to my water aerobics classes. My knee is getting better but when I overdo things, it lets me know and I have to take it easy. I have been driving and doing my own housework now. The lady that was cleaning my house became sick, so I didn't have much choice. I was about to try cleaning on my own anyway.

I am tired of this winter weather already and am ready for spring. I have Daphne and Daffodils thinking its spring. I just hope they're right. Our weather hasn't been that cold, just wet.

Well, everyone have a nice week and stay safe.
