IT'S FRIDAY, MY FAVORITE DAY!!

Another month bites the dust and I don't know where the time goes. This week is about the same as last.

Snow We had some snow showers but nothing sticking to the ground. The hills that we can see from our windows were covered with snow. It was a little slick out and there were a few accidents from vehicles sliding into ditches but I just stayed home where it's warm and dry.

Before After I finally got Dave to get his Covid hair cut. It had been almost a year since the scissors had been used and he could put his hair in a ponytail. It is still a little long in back but it is manageable. The girls think it makes him look younger, so he is satisfied.

Jan We decided to try a food cart called "A Taste of India" the other night. (One of our "nights out" where I don't have to cook.) Anyway it was highly recommended and we like curry, so we decided to try it. Of course, Dave likes "spicy" and I like "mild" but we got the same dish, Tikka Masala which is a marinated chicken breast cooked in a rich creamy curry. It was too rich for me and it didn't agree with me. So I spent most of the night and next day recovering. Dave, on the other hand, lapped his up with no problems and will likely have the rest of mine that I couldn't eat for lunch today. This picture was taken while we were waiting for the food. I didn't feel too much like smiling afterward.

Crumbly porch We haven't seen the crew for a couple of weeks now so nothing new to report on the apartment. We showed it to a single woman who has been "couch surfing" for the past six months and was anxious to see it. The upstairs of the apartment (living quarters) is done but the entry will take a couple of weeks. We bought a new door with sidelight windows for the front entry and we need to jackhammer the old cement porch and stairs and build a new porch. The old porch is crumbling badly. Luckily, if someone wants to move in, they can always use the back door through the bedroom. We do want to get it rented as we are getting low on money and could use the income that the rent would provide.

Well, that's it for this week. Still waiting to hear when we can get our Covid19 shot. Take care.
