IT'S FRIDAY, MY FAVORITE DAY!!

Angel Irena The only thing happening this week has been working on the apartment in the church. The crew came down on Wednesday and starting digging the drainage for the sewer line to connect to the main line. It was extensive labor but they got it done!
Luis Pump Now they are digging a hole to bury the pump and then we should be able to hook it all up. Here's what a sewage ejector pump looks like before it goes into the ground. It's a lot of work to get it ready to bury so I hope it works. While they're doing that, Luis is helping Dave with the plumbing for the building,. In this case, putting in the hot and cold water lines. Hurray!

It is suppose to start raining down here pretty hard by this weekend and so they wanted to get it all connected before the rains came. Then, most of the work will be indoors and it won't matter if it is raining or not.

I worked out in the parks this week and we have finally made it through all the parks and now it is time to begin again. We spent some time at the Waterfront Park and the weeds are back! It hardly looks like we have done anything! Those darn weeds.

We have been working out at the pool doing our water aerobics. It's amazing what I can do in the water that I can't do on land! Our class is small (about 8 to 10 people) and we keep our distance.

Jadyn Lara sent this picture of her oldest. Hard to believe that Jadyn is a senior already! Love this girl !!

I had my carpets cleaned on Tuesday and boy, were they dirty. Dave and I had to move the furniture around and that about "done us in". The carpets hadn't been cleaned a couple of years, so they really needed it. After the carpet was dry then we had to lug all the furniture back in place. Luckily, Luis showed up and helped Dave move the heavier pieces.

As I mentioned, this is short as there hasn't been much happening around these parts. I hope all is well your way.
