IT'S FRIDAY, MY FAVORITE DAY!!

Well, actually it is Wednesday and I am posting this early as we are headed over to Salem tomorrow to help Leslie and Jason move to their new house that they bought. I told her that I would help her clean up her old place so that it will be ready for the new owners to move in.

Thursday is also Dave's birthday, so I wanted to give a shout out for his "special" day. It is hard to believe that these birthdays manage to come by so fast! We will be celebrating with the family after the move. He seems to be getting around pretty good and I make sure he gets his daily medications. The doctor seems to be pleased with his health so that is always a good sign.

Bathing Beauties We had an unexpected elk sighting in right in front of our place the other day. They were at the bank of Nehalem Bay and even ventured into the water. I was hoping that they wouldn't decide to swim over to our side of the bay and as it turned out, they didn't. They created quite a stir with people stopping their cars along Highway 101 to take pictures. It just reminds me how blessed we are to be able to look out our windows and watch all of nature around us with the backdrop of the mountains. I really don't mind being at home if I can look at the view.

Our granddaughter, Paige made the sports section of the Salem Statesman Journal this week. They printed a nice article about how she is adjusting to being in Eugene and University of Oregon life with CoVid19 affecting everything they do. She is playing or practicing with the soccer team and living in an apartment with four other team members. They won't be playing any competitive games until next spring, but the team is still working out together wearing their masks and social distancing. The link to the article is here if you want to see it.

Well, I apologize for this being short but as I said, I'm posting early. I will try to do better next time. I should have pictures of the move at the very least. Take care.
