IT'S FRIDAY, MY FAVORITE DAY!!

Flags” WIDTH= Clue

Lara's family came last weekend because the granddaughters had three-days off for the Memorial Day holiday on Monday. The girls helped G-dad put the flags out bright and early on Saturday and later he treated them to donuts from the bakery. In spite of the cool and cloudy weather, they still went swimming at the Nehalem indoor pool. Their dad also took them up to Seaside where they rode the bumper cars and visited the candy store. Later, they watched movies and played the game of Clue. While Greg was here, he went across the street from our house and cut down a tree that was blocking our view. It had been a few years since he had cut it and it had grown quite a bit.

We have been getting ready for our annual city cleanup where the city brings in two large dumpsters and the citizens of our village can bring their trash and yard debris down to city Hall to have it processed. We also had a list of for people who couldn't bring their stuff down and we picked it up. Anyway, Dave and I have been cleaning out the church on our property so we can get ready to put the floor back in. That will be a major job, but this will give us more space to store some of our trailers, Kubota tractor and wood. We had quite a bit of stuff to donate to the dumpsters when it was all over.

The park committee got busy on Wednesday and cleaned up the area around city hall. It was getting a little weedy but cleaned up nicely. We wanted it to look nice for the annual clean up.
