IT'S FRIDAY, MY FAVORITE DAY!!

April Fool's Day too!!

Collage

We had a nice Easter in spite of the terrible winds and rain. Most of the Easter egg hunts in town were canceled on Saturday, but that didn't stop us! We still managed to dye the eggs and hide them in the house. Jadyn had a lot of fun with that (with Mom's help of course).

On Easter, Lara, Greg, Jadyn, Dave and I drove down to Keizer to have dinner with Leslie and Jason. The girls had their matching outfits on that I got them for Easter and they looked sooo cute. We couldn't resist posing them for one extra picture, though. You know that famous thing with the three monkeys: See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil? Here's our version! They had a lot of fun hiding eggs around the house and of course there was lots of candy to eat.

Also, we had a few games this week, Saturday night, Monday night and then again on Wednesday. Since I hadn't been home for so long that I couldn't remember when and how to get there, I made Dave drive me down to Wheeler on Tuesday and then back to Portland again on Wednesday for the last game. (Hey, what's a 200-mile round trip when you get to spend 24-hours at home?) Then on Thursday morning we came right back down here again! So we are finally home now for a couple of days. We have had some terrific storms while we have been away and we were anxious to see if there was any damage. Other than having to hunt around the neighborhood for our garbage can lids and other paraphernalia that had blown away, everything else was in its place. Between games in the next week or so, I hope to get caught up with some of the weeds that have taken over (weather permitting).

Did I mention that we were only going to be home a couple of days? That's right. It isn't over yet. Dave has to engineer a game this Saturday and then Sunday is the big birthday party of our two-year old granddaughter, Jadyn. We are planning on coming back home right after the party, as we don't have another game until the middle of the week. The season is over on April 21st, and it can't come a minute too soon for me! I'm tired of living out of a suitcase!

As soon as we got back home on Thursday, Ray came back to work some more on the Utility Room. He got the new countertops down, but it's still a work in progress, so I'll wait to post pictures until that project is finished. I want to get the walls painted before I take pictures.

Nothing else is happening so I will just include a bunch of pics that we took during the Easter celebration.
